Happy 2nd Birthday, Colin

Colin celebrated turning the big 2 at Nana and Papa W. with cousins, aunts and uncles. Colin had been practicing the song Happy Birthday and knew that one blows out the candles on the 'happy birthday cake'. He was so excited when everyone started singing to him! Aunts Sarah and Christine joined in via speaker phones. We enjoyed a Blue's Clues cake, too cute! Colin received a lot of great toys and clothes. He's been busy playing with all the new loot.



Well also celebrated Mommy's birthday, early. That was very nice to enjoy cake, ice cream and great gifts with everyone. We had a good time!

Two Year Old's Photos

We did the obligatory (is it obligatory, or the expectation I put on myself as Mom? I did have a 50% off coupon!) birthday photos and family photos for Colin's 2nd birthday. He gave us about 10 minutes of his attention, then he was over it. We did capture a few cute pictures with a real smile. If you ask him for his 'happy face', you get all teeth and his face scrunched up. A funny face for sure.

Snow Day!

We enjoyed a snow day -more like a snow February. This has been one white winter!
With his Spiderman hoodie underneath his big winter coat, Colin was ready to hit the slopes. Okay, it was more on the side of holding snow balls and calling them snowmen.
Kids' gloves are useless and you have to battle with them and the child, finally hauling the little one back into the warm house.
Our time outside in between snowfalls was a fun adventure.
