Summer Lax

Along with the local EP lax club, CP is playing in the travel team Twin Cities Select. He's playing up in the 12 yr. old league to get a better sense of the skill and speed. Less overwhelming than last year. His team took 3rd place in the Blue Ox invitational over the weekend. The two teams that beat them to play for the championship barely eeked out a win over TC. Overall, the boys had fun and the weather cooperated.

What a day for a mow, eh? (My Blue Heaven)

The summer of his 10th year and Colin is learning the exciting skill of mowing the lawn. It'll be funny when he realizes that it's required at least weekly for the next few months. 

Father's Day

Enjoyed terrific weather to take in a game at the Saints' stadium. The kids enjoyed the silliness of the local minor league baseball team. St. Paul Saints won 1-0 over the Winnepeg Goldeyes (a fish?).

Last Day of School

We successfully wrapped up Kindergarten and 4th Grade!
Sydney was sad that she'll miss her teacher, Miss O'Brien. I think Colin gained a lot from his teacher, Mrs. Swaggert.

Next year, Henry and Ava are in middle school. 

Mother's Day

Huge buffet brunch to celebrate us moms. These are just iPhone pix from the golf course. Wish we could've eaten there all day, but quickly filled our tummies!
