Another Bath Time Attempt

Bill and I took Milo to a pet store that offers wash your own pet stations. It was a lot easier to make a mess there than to try to keep the hair, soap and water from getting everywhere at home. Milo was not thrilled and really didn't like the loud blow dryer. So, we just toweled him off.

He's nice and fluffy again. And, waaaay less smelly!

First Day of School 2021

Sooo, we're going to try going in person for as long as possible...with masks. K-5 masks are required throughout the school. Middle and high school has masks recommended for students and required for staff.

Sydney was so happy to be getting on the bus and start 4th grade. She and Tasha hopped on and sat together eager to begin the year.

Colin was waaay less eager to go back to school, a new school, 8th grade middle school, with new schedules and lots of unknowns. But he handled it really well and I think got some sleep the night before.

Doggie Paddle

The Preserve used its last day before draining the pool to invite the neighborhood pups for a swim.

We decided to try it since Milo is enjoying destroying his kiddie pool. Walking him to the pool, he was excited to get in and great a few of the dogs.

Then a hoard of pups arrived and the barking and mayhem were a bit much for him and he was ready to go home.

A good first effort out in a group, however.

Go Bucks!

We braved the pandemic (seriously, we were probably only a dozen people wearing masks in the stadium!) to watch the Buckeyes beat the Gophers. Uncle John and Aunt Kathy came up from Cbus to attend the game with Nana, Papa and Anita. The kids were excited and were happy to cheer for the Scarlet and Gray (and a little bit for the Maroon and Gold who did pretty well considering).

It rained off and on. I was glad it wasn't any colder that in the 60s or we would have had to leave early.
