Mother's Day

Huge buffet brunch to celebrate us moms. These are just iPhone pix from the golf course. Wish we could've eaten there all day, but quickly filled our tummies!

(I need to get images off the camera, coming soon)...

San Antonio - Spring Break 2018

Spring break was snowy in MN so thank goodness we got a chance to visit Lexi and Lucas in Texas!
We did a river boat ride and went to the Alamo. And, we ate our way through tacos, beans and smoked meats. Yum!

9 yr, 5 (almost 6) yr, 10 yr and 7 yr olds.

The Alamo

Colin was very interested in the historic military artifacts on display.

Syd was SO hot in the 80 degree weather (crazy!). She could barely smile.

The kids enjoyed just hanging out playing football in the park and swimming in their cousins' pool.

Sydney's dramatic hair cut

Sydney had been asking to have her hair cut like a boy for some time. She was tired of it on her neck and hated brushing it. So, I finally made an appointment. And, CHOP!

Here's the pony we'll keep.

Easy to wash and go!

Her personality grew another 100%, she was so excited!

Lost her first tooth

Like her brother, Sydney was nervous about wiggling her tooth. So, it started hanging there in her mouth. It was now a Friday in March and I suggested she try to pull it out that day since she'd be at school. Her goal was to get a tooth box for her tooth which you get if you lose your tooth at school. And, success!

Hitting the Slopes

Colin and Bill have been out on the hills a few times this late winter. The MN Parks and Rec promoted free winter passes for 4th graders. So they've been make the most of it.

We had Sydney out for her first lesson on Buck Hill last weekend. Once we told her this was where Lindsay Vonn started she was hooked. She did a second lesson and cried when I made her leave at 5pm. All week she's been asking to go again. So, we're off to the hill tomorrow morning.

CP on the hill.

She loved the boots and didn't want to take them off all day!

Game face

In line for the magic carpet.

Morning lesson #1.

Happy 10th Birthday Colin

Celebrating with Baby Quinn and family, Colin picked a bright green frosting for his extra chocolaty cake. The candle is standing in for a "1" candle. His big gift was a larger bike with gears.

He got to have one more large friends party. The group went to see Black Panther! The boys were up and down the entire time. One, who had seen the movie, left twice for concessions. One came from a basketball tourney and had to use the bathroom 4 times, and the twins were just extra wiggly. Bill and I will have to actually watch the movie another time.
