Birthday Party 2.0

Invited the family over for Colin's birthday.
Complete with Lego cake and a crazy sister.
Uncle Russ was in town visitng, too!

Happy 6th Birthday

Caved and did the Chuck E. Cheese birthday party. It turned out to be a great time for the kids and they all behaved very well. Colin invited some kids from kindergarten, his preschool, the neighborhood and his cousins. 

Then the boys figured out which games gave them the most tickets so they could 'buy' a bunch of candy and amazing plastic toys.

Ginger Bread House

First attempt at a ginger bread house....very messy! Bill and Colin spent the next day eating all the candy off of it. Glad we didn't spend too much time working on it.

Third Time's a Charm

We watched Colin get his haircut first. Then Syd was okay to sit for her much needed trim. The lollipop helped, too.

A Visit with St. Nick

The Association invited families to visit with Santa and enjoy some crafts and snacks.
Old St. Nick sang a few songs with the kids and shared stories and fun facts from the North Pole.  Colin was sure this wasn't one of the dress up Santas, but the real deal!

Sydney didn't scream this time. Colin froze when Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas. Bill reminded him of the Power Rangers Zord.

A very sweet Santa, indeed!
