Sheltering in Place
Starting March 18, Minnesota went to shelter in place to try to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 outbreak. The kids were off school for 3 weeks (including the regularly planned spring break) before distance learning started. It's been interesting. I'm very happy that it's spring and not January!

Not enough social distancing?

2nd Grade Performance
Sydney had been practicing for weeks and was excited for her 2nd grade music performance. The theme was about kindness. With the new music teachers, it was a very cute performance.
Indoor Lax
Well, before the world changed, we did enjoy one game of lacrosse for each kid. It was looking good as the kids were excited to get back into the gear and see some friends.

Somebody Turned 12 Years Old!
We dined at Pizza Karma, his choice. And, Colin opened the presents he received from the Weiher fam. He'll have a friends party this weekend and a MN family dinner the following weekend.
3D printed lax sticks from his cousins, Owen and Finn.

Christmas 2019
A lot of fun family time in MN and OH (where it was in the 60s!). At Tippie's for an early Christmas: Colin, Sydney, Lexi and Lucas wrote a Christmas rap and Miss Quinn sang Ba Ba Black Sheep and Twinkle Little Star.
Papa Beard's tree.
At Wild Woods park. Syd said she loves Ohio,
"because it's so warm and so many people wear Ohio State stuff."
Sammy took to Uncle Bill.

Santa and Mrs. Claus
The first year that Colin didn't sit with the little kids to listen to Santa at the Preserve. Both he and Sydney did share some things on their list and sit for a photo. They won't tell me what Santa whispered to them. Hmm...
