When he's not dealing with the not-so-fun effects of pushing through molars, Colin is quite the clown and cracks himself up. Once again, a box provides hours...wait, we're talking about a 14 month old...minutes of entertainment. (Mommy forgot the drool bib.)

I took him to the library for the first time. The one just to the north of us has a great kids room with murals and 3-D resin images of characters from books like bears, a dragon, a dog, and a castle coming out of the walls. Colin was so excited he didn't know what to do with himself. He toddled from animal to animal making the sign and growling for "bear", "fff"-ing (woof woof) for the dog and squeezing his hands into tight fists yelling "Eeeeee", (that's his "I'm so excited, I can't stand it!"). The room had a stuffed panda bear three times the size of Panda at home. Both Colin and I said "Whoa!" and he promptly jumped on him.
It was hilarious watching him discover everything in the room. He wasn't about to sit and look at the books. The library does Pajama Readings (or some such name) one evening a week. I thought before we tried that I would get Colin familiar with the space. I doubt he'll sit for any book here.
