Jealous of His Sister's Presents

A gift of bows arrived for Sydney today. Colin decided it would be funny to put them in his hair. We spent a good half hour on different looks (with food all over his face, too). Handsome.

Fall Festival

Some family time at the corn pit, giant slide, mini petting zoo, wooden train play set, kettle corn and greasy fries. A beautiful, sunny autumn day...a little windy.

Oh, and some punkin' chuckin'.

She Likes to Sleep...

...usually with one or both hands behind her head and a blanket shoved in her face.

Teething

Just like her big bro, Sydney's started teething at 4 months. A little white dot has shown up in the lower right gum. She's been a little fussy, gnawing on her fingers and drooling a lot.

Oh, Dam!

Colin: "Papa, did you know Sam and Dam(n) rhyme?" (Pause for effect) Papa: "You mean as in a wall that holds water?" Colin: "No, like, when you throw glass on the ground, and it breaks, and some of it flies in your eye. And you'd say..." Papa: "I'd say 'Ouch!'" Colin: "Yeah, I'd say 'Ouch, damn, ouch!'" Everyone stiffles a laugh. (Not sure why the blog formatting is outta whack and smooshing the lines together.)
