Colin loves "running"-- while hanging on to your fingers we go tearing through the house. It's not so much running as moving his legs back and forth while being half dragged and giggling all the way.
He's popped up his 8th tooth, on the bottom. And, now he's working on 2 lower molars! Poor guy has been a crank. Part of me wants to slather all his teething toys in Oragel until we get through this.
When daddy burps, Colin fake burps. Nice, I know. And he fake coughs. Best yet, he fake cries. That's actually pretty funny as he tries to figure out what will manipulate Mommy and Daddy. He'll whah whah whah and then look at us as if he's wondering "did that work?".
He's standing on his own while clapping his hands. It's brief and might last longer if he didn't knock off his balance with the clapping.
Favorite finger foods are mango, banana, avocado, blueberries and the old standby, string cheese. I try to keep up the variety when we have time to experiment with new foods.
And today, we swear he answered "hi da da" to Bill's "hi buddy" greeting. Pretty cool.

Photo: We bought a play yard, aka Gitmo. He's not too thrilled about it.
