Prom 2026

 Group of 20 gathered for pictures at Lake Harriet for a much nicer day than last year's prom.

Dinner at Newsroom and a unique Prom location at the Uptown Theater.

Prom Proposal 2026

It worked to incorporate Bruno Mars lyrics into his prom proposal the night a group of them went to the concert. 

Last Middle School Band Concert for Syd

 Syd (in the middle) was excited to get to play the bass clarinet for one of the songs at this concert. Then she broke her middle finger at flag football. Fortunately, she could still play the bass clarinet because they're all push keys and you don't have to cover holes like the regular clarinet. So she quickly learned rest of the songs on the instrument with two days of practice.

University of St. Thomas

 Colin committed to University of St. Thomas for Fall 2026. We had an informative admitted student day visit last month that helped give him a better sense of what St. Thomas has to offer. Good friends Max and Eric, along with several other seniors are heading there next year. 

With Grandma Mary's surprise visit, there was time to show her around campus on a beautiful spring day. 

Middle School Musical

 Syd's theater career at CMS went out with a bang. The school put on the Disney production Newsies. She played the charismatic character Race. It was a great fit and a fun show. 

Grandma Mary flew in to surprise Syd and see two of the four shows. Syd was nervous for that last show knowing she and fellow 8th grade castmates would be sad and cry on stage thanking the adult directors and everyone for their hard work. Syd made newspapers for each of the directors with articles about each of their roles and quotes from students saying how much they enjoy working with them. 

Asher, Calvin, Syd and Ruthie (9th grader who played Annie last year)
