Visit with Papa T

Colin was on the mend from scarlet fever thanks to the antibiotics, so we were with a happy kid again. Just in time too as Papa Ba-tar visited us for the weekend. Explanation: ba-tar = guitar in Colin-speak. My dad has a guitar and both Papas are named Bill; we had to get a little creative.

Bill was in Charlotte for the NASCAR hall of fame inductions and the all star race –all work related, of course! It was great to have my dad here to help out and have fun with CP.

Colin was so excited to go to the Go Buckeyes Library and the Go Buckeyes Union. He behaved very well as dad and I walked around the two new buildings on campus. The Union kept Colin entertained as we told him to find all of the Go Buckeyes (Block O’s) and Bruti in the building –the place is crawling with them! Colin would look around and call out, “Brutus, where are you?” When he found one he would point and say, “Papa! I see’em!”


We also enjoyed playtime at COSI, we played a lot of Hot Wheels and walked to the playground once the rain finally stopped! It's so nice to see sun and 80 degrees this week.
