Colin was invited to his first non-family member kiddie birthday party -and it was for a GIRL! It was a Mickey and Minnie Mouse theme. Colin was thrilled as we have just started watching the Mickey Mouse Club House in the morning before school. The birthday girl even provided a CD of her favorite songs with a lot of the Club House songs -he loves it. He likes listening to them in the car, "really loud, Mommy!" and then screaming the parts of the songs that he knows. (We do this a lot with Go Buckeye songs too. My ears usually are ringing by them time we reach our destination.)
Anywho, Colin did great playing around/with the other toddlers. The party had a ton of great outdoor activities and was held at a huge park. Of course, the kids gravitated to the 2 plain, old squirt bottles and took no mercy on the short and tall alike. Photo of Colin and birthday girl aiming at each others' shoes.
